Tonight was the final make-up game for Brayden's spring Baseball season. He was pretty excited because he was finally able to play a team that had some of his school class mates on it. The had a great game, Brayden managed a couple good hits and had a great cover play on first throwing the runner out at second. We were talking to one of the coaches and saying that it has been such a fun year as all the kids have really grown and matured in their understanding of the game...no longer do you get the standard play of get the ball only if it is directly in front of you and then throw it to the pitcher. The kids are starting to understand the game and by the end of the season most all the boys were finally able to hit without the tee. We will see what summer brings-the sun was out for a bit tonight with hardly any breeze and it was sweltering. Hard to believe little James endured many summer nights last year at the ball field.
