An Evening at the Ball Field

Finally, an evening that was not rained out.  It has been almost two weeks since our last game due to all the rain.  Tonight it was just perfect, cool, no wind clear blue sky's.  The kids had a lot of fun.  The was a ton of kids to play with so Andrea and Becca were plenty busy.  It is nice they are getting a little older so I don't need to be right next to them all of the time.  They know the boundaries and are wonderful at staying together.  Tonight they spent the better part of the game playing ring around the rosy and fooling around with a hoola hoop.  Brayden had a great game, he was able to play first base-which he loves and hit a home run.  It was most fun to watch him run the bases. On his big hit he ran into a pickle at third, he took off back to second which was then over thrown and off he ran to home.  What fun to see him race across home plate and see his team dug-out screaming and jumping in excitement.  It is always fun to see the boys able to hit, some games can be long as some boys struggle to hit the ball.  Tonight there was a lot of hitting making for lots of smiles.

We ended the evening walking to our car watching the moon....and laughing at all the cars who got parking tickets!  Don't park on the grass those Jenks Police are serious about the no parking signs!
