Fun Times

Our days seem to fill up quickly these days, the kids favorite thing lately is coming home and playing.  Ron has had some big boxes in the garage and for about a week they have been everything from ramps, forts and school desks.  The other day I came home to find a mini school in our front yard with Brayden as the teacher.  Yesterday was the last Wednesday night for the kids Bible Blast program.  I did not really know what to expect,  but was told everyone was getting awards.  It turned out to be a very special little presentation.  Both Brayden and Becca received ribbons for their memory work-no we didn't make it even close to completing the "ABC's verses, it was amazing the amount of bible verses some of the kids committed to memory.  They both did receive trophy's for answering their questions correctly each week, so fun to see them rewarded for their hard work....or should I say mine seeing as they were not always thrilled about sitting and reading every week.  The funnest thing out of this whole experience was how proud both kids were that we read through almost the entire Bible Blast Bible that we were given the beginning of the year. Little by little it does really add up-I think Brayden wanted to even read the fine print he was so determined to read every last word to get  to the end.

The kids and their boxes, I wish I could say they brought something fun to our house....no so much just a bunch of survey equipment.  I think the UPS man was a little disappointed I was not excited to get them all.

The kids getting trophy's for their work at answering weekly questions-pictures are not the greatest but you get the gist of the evening.

Needless to say the kids have been sleeping hard-I couldn't resist trying to get a picture of Andrea when I went to wake her this morning.
