She Did It!

Way to go Andrea.  Yesterday she performed in front of a packed crowd at the Jenks Performing Arts Center.  She didn't mention once that she was going to be shy or that she was scared.  I dropped her off in a room full of little ballerina's and she didn't blink an eye.  The whole Recital was about an hour and half long, I say Andrea did it but the rest of the kids did as well.  We did have to do a little hunting mid way for a lost pacifier....would you know everything was on a slant downward so anything dropped kept right on moving into the next row.  Andrea did her ballet and tap numbers, both towards the end of the recital we were all counting down the numbers till her group.  The crowd is amazing, tons of family all carrying balloons, flowers-quite an affair.  It was so special to have our friends come and support Andrea, she was sooo happy to have her friends see her dance.  It was a very fun way to start out our Saturday.

 She loved all the attentions, lots of smiles and hugs.

We ended the day on a walk looked for some Indigo Buntings that Ron has been seeing on his bike rides into work.  We did get a brief sighting....I think I might need to go back.  It was such a beautiful day-cool but sunny, I just love all the green.
