Today we all loaded up and were out of the house by around 9am. Yes, we were off to meet Brayden's teachers and find his class-room. Turned out not to be a big deal at all. Kind of funny to watch as the parents were the ones exploring and pointing things out to the kids/really into getting to know the class and the most of the kids seemed like no big deal. Well, Brayden was one of those kids who didn't really seem to care and hardly even looked at his teachers before diving into the Lego table. We managed to find his cubby, his star on the floor with his name and his homework/paper slot-really, he was just interested in all the toys. Becca did very well, she understands she has to be four before she gets to the big class but there were some tears when Brayden got to decorate a star for the door and she did not. It is so sad to see her heart so sad-you can just see it on her face. I told her she was going to get some special time with mommy and she informed my she wanted to go with Brayden and not me. I guess Brayden is ready for a break from myself because as we were driving home he informed me that I just needed to drop him off-he knew were his class was. He was not very happy when I told him I needed to come in with him-he said he wants to be older like his cousins so he can go to a big school and I can just drop him off. I don't think I am quite ready for that.
The picture is of Brayden with his new backpack-which we thankfully got today. (I must have ordered in my sleep one night and mistakenly sent it to MI!)

He looks all grown up!! Cute shot! I'm sure he will love school, and you'll get a little break too!
That is so hard to believe! You will have to tell me how it goes-what he is learning. You'll have a quieter house for a while. I am sure Becca will miss him!
