THE BLUE SLIDE

Another day another fall. Today it was Becca's turn to get hurt, actually she is usually the one to fall/trip/run into things... today it was the big blue slide. We headed out to a nearby park and Brayden and Becca were full of energy, running all over with a friend. There is a huge slide, about three play stories high, which the kids usually avoid. Today Becca was just flying down it and soon Brayden and friend were joining her. Keep in mind this is the same slide another little friend broke his leg on. Well Becca somehow came down on her face and just flew out the end face first. She had road rash on her face and chest and actually had wood chips up her nose-not a pretty sight. She was tough and after some snack she perked back up. You would think they would stay away from that slide but after a while there they were back at it.

One other funny moment from today. We filled up the pool again and the older two where have a blast swimming today. Brayden discovered that he can swim under water the length of the pool. He had a lot of fun pretending he was a swimmer in the Olympics. When I was cheering for him and saying how he could swim like the big guys in the Olympics Becca spoke up and said "mommy, he doesn't have any goggles" funny the things they notice.

Thanks to all the wonderful friends and family who remembered my birthday, with the cards, flowers and balloons it has been a special couple of days even with Ron gone.

They almost didn't let becca in the daycare at the gym because they thought she was sick. As you can see she didn't stay upset for long.
