It is that time again, seems like a lot has happened in one year. I would say how old I am but I prefer Becca's take on my age. If you ask her how old mommy is, she will hold up both hands and say this old! Sounds good to me. One new fun moment today was seeing a hummingbird at my back perenial garden. It is in sorry shape but I guess he didn't mind.
Brayden was concerned this morning when I told him it was my birthday because he didn't have any presents for me-he was so sad. After a while he came back with the idea that I needed a cake..."what kind of cake do you want mommy?" so cute to hear him ask. Well, besides for the kids singing to me and opening some cards we didn't do a whole lot else. With out our main man around it was just another day of kids stuff for us. We are enjoying watching the Olympics, Brayden's likes just hanging out as he calls it. Becca ran in tonight after dinner and turned the TV on by herself . Next thing I know she is telling me -as I am trying to unload every one else from the car..."don't worry mommy just commercial, Olympics will come on" I didn't even know she knew what commercial meant and if she even understood the whole Olympic thing.
We did enjoy dinner out, I was a little sick of Sonic and the typical kid stuff so we managed Chili's tonight. The kids did great and it was actually a pretty nice evening, besides for all the kid chatter, which seems endless! I actually enjoyed someone stopping at our table to look at the kids to just have a minute of adult conversation.
Andrea is still preferring crawling and is constantly chasing the other kids room to room. Today they were playing in their "house" the pack-n-play and she was hanging on the outside screaming because she wanted it. She wants to play with them and gets mad when then ignore her. It is so fun to hear her laugh and yell as she tries to keep up with them.
That is all for today, just a lot of playing and not a whole lot else. We only managed a half of a block bike ride before Brayden had a major gut attack and we all had to made a bee-line for the house, to bad as it was a beautiful evening. Finally it is quiet, although Brayden was concerned at bed time that we didn't make a cake, "your birthday is over, when's the party?" Not to be concerned, date night is planned for this weekend, he's just not invited!

The kids all set up to watch the olympics-Andrea needs her own chair because she kept steeling Becca's, although she has fallen over backward atleast 5 times because she constantly stands up.
