A rare moment!

It is amazing to me how fast a weekend can fly by. Once again it is Sunday evening and I feel as though we didn't do a whole lot. Well, today we took a ride out to the river and let the kids play in the water fountain-always an easy activity for us and fun for the kids. Today the river was very low and so Ron headed down into it with the kids and Ephie. They had a blast, swimming and throwing rocks-skipping as Brayden was so proud to inform me that his actually skipped! Thankfully the river is not this low all the time, although it is fun I don't think it is the cleanest so everyone is required a deep clean, including Ephie when we get to the house a little too much work.
Saturday was a day of errands for the entire family, you can imagine how it goes. We started at a furniture store and ended up at Walmart. You would think with kids bouncing on mattresses and climbing all over the furniture that the sale men would avoid us like the plague....not so, they must be desperate! Anyway by the time we got to Walmart they were to the beyond silly stage-which as usual ended with both kids crying. Thankfully one of us had patience and understanding that day, it wasn't me! The weekends are most special to myself and the kids as Ron is around and always able to deal with most anything that the kids throw at him-except for maybe some stinky diapers!
Once funny note on Andrea-who by the way was promoted to the walking room at church today. When I change her diaper I have been giving her nose a pinch and saying stinky-playing a game and she usually just grins and laughs. Yesterday she decided she was going to do it, except instead of pinching her nose she took her finger and stuck it up her nose. Very funny to see her laying on the changing table, big grin on her face with a finger up her nose.
Tonight was one of those evenings which happens about as frequently as a blue moon-the kids were actually half way photogenic, I mean all three at the same time!
