Routine Weekend

Not a lot have been going on in the Haveman household so that explains the little lack of info the past couple of days. We have done a lot of just hanging out. Brayden and Becca have been big into playing babies. They pack in their baby to the stroller with about 5 blankets and push them around the house. Unfortunately there is a favorite stroller that they both like and Brayden usually ends up playing crash with his stroller which Becca hates. So it is nice they play together but these past couple of days there has been a lot of screaming and crying, which tends to give me a headache. I never realized that I say this out loud but I must because the other day after Becca had gotten a good talking to-about endless crying, she looked at me and in her tired high whinny voice said, "it just gives me a headache and then started crying all over again" Ron and I did manage to get out of the house without kids. Funny thing is that after dinner and a little shopping we were both ready to call it a night-I feel old!
Thankfully it has been nice and cool here this weekend. For some reason there are not any mosquitoes so we have enjoyed being in the back yard. Andrea loves her new little car, although her favorite perch during the day is on top of the little picnic table. No matter how many times I take her down she just climbs right back up, sits on her haunches and watches her two crazy siblings. She has managed about 5 steps in a row but still motors around the house on hands and knees.
Funny thing yesterday was watching Ron get a taste of his own medicine. Ron loves to come up to myself or the kids when we are relaxing and crack/pull our toes, it is soooooo annoying! We always yell and beg him to stop and he just laughs like no big deal. Sat we were all hanging out in the bedroom after naps and all of a sudden Brayden started pulling on Ron's toes. Lets just say he found out he doesn't like it very much either. We will see if he continues with his little bugging habit-and if he does I am sending Brayden after him!
