The sun is still shining but the heat has gone and we are loving these beautiful fall days. Yesterday was a day that we all enjoyed. We started off the morning by heading out to the Zoo. I finally was able to run in my first race since having James. Yes, it has taken a long time...I am just thankful that my foot has healed up and I am able to get out and exercise without worring about hurting my foot. The 10km race was great and I actually finished in just under 52minutes-one of my faster times. I don't know what was better, crossing the finish line or having the kids and Ron cheer me on. Yeah for Brayden for dashing with me at the end to get me racing! We enjoyed walking around the zoo and seeing the giaraffes and leapards after the race, this kids had fun getting their face painted. We haven't been to the Zoo since all the summer heat hit. After lunch Brayden enjoyed having some free time when we got back home and did so with the neighbor kids. I have gotten pretty lazy in my supervion of the boys, which actually leaves the house pretty quiet and the outdoors pretty chaotic. Brayden told me that Drew and his fort is in the pine tree...who know's what they put up in that tree, I am afraid to look. I was finally able to have a little quiet time with just Becca, as the other two slept. We worked on designing some clothes for her paper doll set. She was pretty exciting to cut, glue and decorate with glitter. The Saturday wouldn't be complete without a soccer game. Thankfully yesterday's game was later, unlike the last 8am game. Brayden did great and loved playing sweeper in the back...he is the throw-in guy for the team. It is fun seeing him come into his own. We ended up going from the soccer field to the driving range-Ron has been wanting to take Brayden golfing but the time just runs away. They did get in some practice and a little time at the driving range while Becca, Andrea, James and I played at the park. New alert....Andrea can do the monkey bars, and she is pretty proud! What a day! we were able to end the day with a relaxing dinner with our friends the Marshes-yes relaxing, eight kids and I didn't cook, thanks guys!
