CycloCross Season

It is that time of year when Ron puts up the road bike for a while and gets out the "green snake" bike  It is cyclo cross season and once again there are practice rides every Tuesday.  These rides are nice because it seems that the number of races in the area have dropped this year, most being in Ok City.  Brayden has had soccer during Ron's practices so we have not been able to watch, also the kids are missing the kids ride which they always found pretty fun.  Anyway, tonight we dropped Brayden off (I don't think I would have done that last year) and drove crazy in order to make a little of Ron's ride.  Turned out we had plenty of time and were able to watch the entire ride.  Sad to say tonight was the night Ron blew out his tire-one of the worst I had seen....I don't think a patch job would have fixed it.  Anyway, still lots of fun.

A quick shot of Andrea.  I continue to love my mornings with her, she is quite a talker and loves telling me what is on her mind.  Today was BSF and every day I pick her up she had something interesting to tell me.  The first day I picked her up she ran out of her class and yelled-"WE DIDN'T HAVE NAP TIME!!  followed by, "we just needed to lay on the floor and think about Jesus....it was so fun!"  Last week I listened to her sing a little song endlessly about the American flag...what is blue.... I didn't catch on till I heard her say fifty stars.  Today it was an in depth story about Saul conversion.  I am not sure it was all biblically accurate but I love the fact that she remembered it so clearly and was so animated in her retelling. She is just so much fun and I am loving having the time to actively listen to her thoughts!
