Sat Run

Sorry no post run pictures, not terrible pleasant and not top priority when I got to the house. This is Ron before having his stomach attack!

It is amazing how sometimes we can fit a run into our day and on others day's the run consumes our day. Today was one of those other days. It was our big 20mile run and we decided to get a sitter so we could both run together. We got a much later start than our norm as the group we teamed up with usually runs late on sat-8:30. Lets just say we started at 8:30 and didn't get back to the house till 1pm. It was very long and unfortunately was not quite planned correctly so we ended very short of our house. The last 2 miles of walking took some time -even if it was supposed to be a cool down we did jog a little just to get done. Brayden met me at the door covered in Marker, and not the easily removable kind, what a greeting. I don't think I ever have thrown the kids in bed so fast. Ron was out in back sitting under the hose and I was sitting in an ice cold bath within about 15 min of arriving home. Sadly to say although Ron made the entire run with out much problems but after laying in bed for a few min's he was hit with his stomach kicking into over drive and has been in and out of the bathroom every since. I did manage to get the kids out for a fun hike later in the afternoon, just so they weren't stuck at the house all day-I don't think it would have lasted as the house was a disaster just from the morning. Brayden had a lot of fun being the leader and Becca just did her best to tag along. After picking up some take-out and a quick stop at the grocery store for some munchies we are all taking it easy tonight. The kids are enjoying a movie night, all that is except for Andrea who keeps trying to find Ron. I am hoping his stomach settles during the night!
ahhhh... Andrea just dumped her lovie in the toilet! This is what I get for sitting at the computer
No great pictures, it was just me and the kids but we had a great time...I don't know what up with Brayden in this photo, maybe it is because we were at the end of the hike.

Wow congrats on 20 miles! I am really impressed. Which mile was the worst? GOod job! I am amazed you still went on a hike too-I wouldn't be able to function! (Not like I have ever tried 20...) Talk to you maybe tomorrow!
