Today we finally were able to get Andrea in for her one year app. She probably didn't care that we were about a month past her birthday especially since she ended up leaving with four shots. It was a day that Brayden was at school so it was just Becca with me. It is so much fun spending some time with her without her big brother along. She is a little chatterbox, and a little mother to Andrea. Today while Andrea was being held down for her shots she came and held her hand-until she started screaming then she had to cover her ears. She had to hold her after and was so sweet. Anyway, Andrea is growing just fine, even if I do think she is a little pipsqueak. She weighed in at 21.5lbs-50% and was 30.5in-75%. The doctor asked a lot of questions in regards to her speech, like what words was she saying and was she putting words together with objects. I had to tell her that Andrea is stuck on one thing/person, DADDY and that is all she says all day long. Guess we need to break out the little baby books and start looking at those-she doesn't seem to interested in the Richard Scary books!
Oh, she is the only child to pull all her band aids off before we got home, so no band aid shot of her this time.
Yesterday we all enjoyed a day of the zoo. Thankfully some of the Tulsa heat has left and we can enjoy the animals again. We actually went to see a puppet show that is normally on our morning public TV cartoons. The kids had so much fun singing songs and trying to figure out the puppets. Andrea loved the music and would just jump in my lap. Becca was the apprehensive one and watched the show with her very serious face, although at the end she loosened up and interacted with some of the puppets after the show. Brayden jumped around, sang and had a good time. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe I didn't bring my camera. We went with friends and thankfully she at least had her camera phone-check out pics on her site. http://katelis-corner.blogspot.com/ It is a bunch of kids but they have a blast and the bonus is that they all took some great naps yesterday.
