Summer Fun

How good it feels to not have a schedule!  We are loving just doing our own thing, and it amazes me how the day fly's by with all four kids home.  The house is always busy which by the end of the day leaves me feeling a little exhausted-but such fun!  Brayden has been having lots of fun with our neighbor friends-water fights, Wii, computer and plenty kickball/ football games.  I am so thankful for a neighbor friend who can keep up with him! Becca and Andrea are usually busy with some sort of doll play with Becca's American Girl Doll-although they keep our play set pretty busy.  James just runs from kid to kid-actually he rides his little trike all over the house.  We have enjoyed biking in the mornings-two new bikes for the girls, amazing to see them grow and able to bike almost three miles both mornings.  We did have to start an incentive jar with has helped immensely with attitude/fighting and chores...a little added motivation goes a long way for them!  Last night we had fun fishing at the aquarium pond.  Each kids caught a fish and we even managed to pull in a couple good size catfish.  It is so funny to see the kids face once a big fish gets on the line...they just get a huge grin, followed by the case of the giggles making it hard to real in the fish! Andrea was the worm girl-so funny to hear her talking about the worm pooping in her hand.  Thanks to the library reading program there is plenty to keep us busy-storytime at the park was fun this morning and got us out of the house for bit.  I am realizing we need to get out and enjoy this weather before the heat really sets in!
