I realized some time late last week that the kids didn't need to be back to school until Tuesday. I thought this might be a little long but it has turned out to be the perfect break. It was so nice to fall into our routine at home without having to run back and forth to school. The kids enjoyed the sunshine and actually played outside. Even though they fight a lot it is fun seeing them all play together. It was fun to hear Becca ask to stay outside for "just a minute longer" as usually she is asking to come back in, she was busy making pies in the sand. Brayden was back at baseball-one handed but he managed and Andrea was into swinging. Playing always looks like fun but I had to get the house somewhat in order-Brayden informed me tonight that I didn't play Mario Cart today and that wasn't very nice. I am going to need to do some major practicing if I am ever going to beat him! We actually all went to the grocery store and made it out with smiles on our faces-okay there was some candy involved.
James is so determined to stand, I remember the kids on their knees....not this little guy. He is all smiles once he finally gets up on his wobbly feet, until he falls. He may have the determination but his little joints are not quite ready for the upright world!
