Not this guy, but he did love seeing the kids when they got back in the car at afternoon pick-up. He just loves to stand but is finding himself is quite a few positions/places that are not the best for him-resulting in much crying. James is still full of smiles but is fighting sleep this week. We have had some long nights. After resolving to be tough and not give in, once again last night I was defeated.
Brayden was finally back at school. He had missed a couple days before break and then Monday. He is such a trooper and didn't complain about not being able to go outside. When I asked him if he read at recess he said he got to color....in the office. When we bugged him a little more, it turned out he had to go to the principals office and not stay in his classroom-the Dr. didn't want his hand in the cold. He felt pretty good as he told us all the kids in his class helped him during the day. Our dilemma this morning-pants! I couldn't find any of his uniform pants that were easy on and off...we will both be glad when this hand heals.
Becca was pretty indifferent about going back to school. She would prefer to be back in MI being catered to by her grandparents. She told me she dreams about MI and keeps forgetting we live in Tulsa. She is having lots of fun playing cats and dogs with the other kids. She has a great imagination and is the peacemaker between Andrea and Brayden.
