The Party Continues

Even thought it was a beautiful sunny day the wind made for some very cold weather. This did not deter Brayden and his quest to test out his new fishing pool. After finding some worms with Grandma everyone headed out to Hunter park (after church and naps of course). I met them at the park as I had run there for my longer training run-seeing them pile out of the car and then hitting the pavement running was a lot of fun. They unloaded the car ready to go-Becca to the park and Brayden to the pond. We ended up at the pond and after a couple casts we decided it was too cold for the fish-and us! Becca had fun chasing some geese and playing with the fake worms.

This afternoon Becca got to open a special gift just for her-she knew right were it was in the house when we told her it was her turn for a gift-"I Get it, I Get it" She felt pretty special. Brayden also got a couple more gifts, among them, a real baseball bat. WOW he was excited! I was not paying attention to his constant babbles when I heard..."MOMMY LOOK AT ME, (well that got my attention ) I really like this bat, it is the best, thank you." He sure can be sweet when he wants to.
We ended the day with finishing off the birthday cake-I think all the kids were pretty hungry, there was frosting everywhere. Even Andrea wanted a taste (which Grandma gave her), although she was much more interested in some strawberries, yelling when she couldn't get one in her mouth, although this doesn't mean much as she was trying to eat all the used wrapping paper earlier in the day.
