Spring Break

This year we had no big plans for Spring Break-different from planning the ski-trip last year.  It has turned out to be a very fun week, considering the rain gage is at 4.5in.  My plans of biking riding, picnics, parks, zoos went out the window but amazingly enough we has stayed plenty busy-or rather having plenty of fun.  The library has been great with activities-Star Wars parties, Special Talks about Space/rockets....free and indoors-perfect!  The gym is my morning escape and turned out the kids love playing-the only time they could run as they have a small gym for them to play b-ball.  We started out the week by seeing the movie the Lorax which James managed to sit through-with the help of a big bag of popcorn and today we did venture into chucky Cheese-actually a pretty good activity where everyone has fun for not a whole lot of cash. Baking and eating treats has been fun-me and the kids!  I did get a bunch of crafts from Hobby Lobby last week so, finger braiding, finger painting, melty beads, and others have kept them busy during the afternoons-along with lots of Odyssey episodes, and of course a very brief outing to the Aquarium-I think have of Tulsa was also there! The most work is feeding everyone the past three days, I feel like with everyone home and eating all three meals at home all I do is work in the kitchen.  Besides for having lots of free time to play-which they love, both Becca and Brayden have actually had time to read.  All in All it has been a nice week, besides for the dynamics that occur when all four kids start to bother each other-which escalates we we don't  have the escape of the backyard.  Brayden still struggles with the group-demanding everyone follow his rules and his not so subtle corrections.  Thankfully James gives everyone laughs which keeps everyone happy.  Now we head into the second half of the week and we are hoping the rain clears out so we can venture out and do a little camping-I think we are going to come back a muddy mess!

A brief glimmer of sunshine today-but the rain is back again. Try to ignore the hole in Andrea's shirt....this is her favorite outfit!  James is rivaling Brayden for the love of Baseball-he is exhausting to keep up with and refuses to use a tee!
