Fun Times

So it seems that another week has flown on by.  It is hard to believe that it is March, although having an 80degree day yesterday got the kids thinking about summer.......... Popsicles, ice on the tramp.  I had to remind them that we did all that fun stuff while we endured the 100degree heat last year.  The kids are doing great with our school routine, which really makes our week move pretty smoothly. Brayden is taking responsibility for his work-yesterday asking me for a pencil while in the car as we were stuck in traffic, telling me that he was going to get started while we sat. We have now added baseball practice to our week-actually fun as with the warm weather it is just a great play time for everyone. This week we did have an extra activity with the cub scouts, touring the Tulsa Historical society's museum.  Turned out to be quite interesting, besides for James the kids found all the old artifacts and facts fun to learn.  James was spoiled by the older sibling's tagging along.  I am enjoying my time in the mornings.  I realized last week with Ron out that taking the kids to school multiple days is rough but can be so productive....it is amazing what you can get done by 10am! Although it makes us quite beat by noon.  Today we played, or I should say Andrea and James played while I tried to make some sense out of the clothes situation.  Between piles of laundry clean and dirty, clothes that have been outgrown, winter/summer, tubs of clothes saved for younger ones I feel like it is a hopeless cause.  After a bit I decided as long as the kids are dressed....WHO CARES, and we decided to head outside to play, much more fun!

Don't you just love their hair!

Okay, so I realize I put on a lot of smiling, happy, fun pictures.  Just thought I would include this one because there is a lot of it going on, along with complaining and fighting......I guess it is the smiles and fun things I like to remember, so much work on behaviour training lately!  Oh, and don't feel sorry for him-he is already spoiled rotten!!

Brayden's cub scout troop had a scavenger hunt throughout this museum, I was a little nervous, picturing a bunch of kids racing through the exhibits but these leaders did a great job with the bunch.

Pack 307...what a bunch of fun boys!
