We barely made the race, both kids were pretty excited, I think Becca more than Brayden. He spent the past two nights pacticing his big bike-once he was assured there were no hills.
Brayden, full of consentration
Becca....oh, my Becca-she was so proud to ride that half a block!
We stayed up a little late last night and watched a little of the pro riders race-it is amazing the speeds they ride for over an hour.
It is the weekend full of bike races. Ron is riding tomorrow so more updating will follow. It has been a beautiful weekend, a little hot this afternoon but perfect evenings for watching the racers. Brayden and Becca had a lot of fun riding their little race. By little....I mean little, I barely had enough time to take a picture of both kids before they crossed the finish line. Becca was so proud to cross under the rainbow of balloons at the finish. Brayden had fun but was a little disappointed on why he didn't get to be first? Kind of a crazy question but he really seems a little confused on how he didn't win.
It was a very hot afternoon so after sweating it out for a little while we decided to head to the pool, first time this season. The kids had a blast, although Andrea wouldn't let go of my hand. Not the nicest thing but in all reality it make it much easier to watch all three kids.
