IS IT REALLY FRI??

I realize that I have not posted much this week. Mainly due to the fact that we have done a whole lot of nothing this week. It has been terribly rainy and is supposed to continue through-out the weekend. Thankfully kids are healthy, Brayden was able to go to school-although he didn't get to play outside-his favorite part. Becca and Andrea were my little troopers, never complaining about the long days. For the most part we stayed at home, on the occasion we needed to get out to save my sanity we visited the mall and had lunch with daddy. Becca is great at playing by herself or with Andrea, for some reason when Brayden is added to the mix things don't go as smoothly. Brayden has started to tattle on Becca, which gets very old and hard to explain to a 5 year old why we don't tattle.
Andrea loves to keep up with the older two. In our boredom I have been playing a little piano-mostly action songs which the kids just run wild. I will let you imagine what they look like marching to "I May Never March in the Infantry" song-but keep in mind my little one year old shoots the artillery, and rides the cavalry with the best of them.
Brayden has been busy with his lego's which he got on his birthday. He is actually quite good at following the directions but needs me or Ron to sit with him-something I don't have the patience for. I think I sat for 45 min today and we still didn't complete the entire helicopter, but Brayden loves putting them together.
Becca still loves to get dressed up, besides for dancing to music or building forts. This week since most house rules weren't being followed (mainly in the TV watching department) she got to wear her princess dress to lunch-she was pretty cute stuff, very funny to see all the business people look and smile. We even broke out the play dough today, we are finally past the stage of Andrea eating it so besides for a bunch on the floor it was a good time filler. She has an amazing memory-today she saw a picture of Ron's uncle who visited earlier in the year. Tonight during prayers she made sure to thank Jesus for the man who pretended to get her nose-funny that she remember that.
Well, after reflecting back on the week I guess it wasn't as much as a wash out as I had thought-even though the checkout lady did tease Ron for buying pull-ups and ice-cream at 9pm one evening. I guess vegging out on the couch with a good book ,candy and letting the house go for a couple days is not the end of the world (I might have a different opinion once I try to dig out and start exercising!)
