SUNDAY FUN

Today we decided to take all Brayden's baseball stuff and head out to the only open feild we know of and play a little game. Very funny as Brayden doesn't really understand the game. He is already to go get the ball he just hit and not run the bases. Although he understands about sliding into bases and the disapointment of getting out. We all had fun and did a lot of running after each other. We found two frogs in the middle of our game which lead to a little diversion, but such is any activity with a 4 and 2 year old. Becca enjoyed wondering around the field and chasing after who ever was running the bases. Brayden informed Ron and I on the ride home that he wanted to STEAL, and Becca said she could be sneaky and do it as well. I guess they do catch on to more that what we think. The nice thing about this abandoned field is that it is right next to a small splash pad-perfect to cool off and not so busy so little Andrea can enjoy a little of the splashes without getting totally run over.

We ended the evening with a picnic along the river with some friends with similar age kids. What a fun, relaxing evening-Becca wanted to know why she couldn't see in the car on the way home. Yes, we are one of those families that actually put the kids to bed with the sun is still out. As it usually turns out, our day of the week for which we don't usually have any plans ends up being the most fun filled and relaxing. Although the humidity was high the storms held off for much of the evening and are just rolling in as we head off to bed. We will see if we get to skip the bathroom party tonight!

As for Andrea-she has learned how to wave, or should I say move her wrist, very funny.
