Time Change, The Good and The Bad

The good thing about the time change it that the kids are so tired from a messed up schedule that bedtime is a much earlier and much easier as they are all quite tired. The bad thing is that they are up early and wanting to nap way to early in the day, making our afternoons VERY long. Becca asked to go to bed today-Mommy, I tired. Next thing I know she was snuggling on in to her bed for her nap, it was only lunch time! Andrea decided last night was her night not to sleep. After listening to her talk, cry, scream we spent time in the chair, couch, bed.... finally she gave it up. My wish last night was to find a room where I was unable to hear any kids and sleep in a bed with out any kids anywhere near me. Ron informed me that my only option was the back of his truck.
Today was a breath of fresh air-literaly, we were able to get outside for our usual Sunday family afternoon. Brayden raced on his bike-he is obsessed with winning and throws a fit if you beat him-failure, such a hard emotion to deal with, even at 3. We spent time at a park where Brayden got to play some football. He usually sits and watches the older boys. Today we brought our own ball and he was able to play with Ron and some other little boys. He had a blast, his face was beet red, what fun.
Becca was the typical monkey, climbing on everything and making all the moms nervous, including myself. Her favorite game today was ring around the rosy-only you have to swing her around, legs in the air, very tiring, but she is very persistent, so round and round we went.
Andrea got to observe all the fun from the front pack. She was fully entertained as I was trying to take some photo's for my photography class, not the easiest thing to complete with a kid strapped to your chest trying to eat your camera strap!
Both Ron and I were able to stay on course with our running/training this past week, always a nice feeling to make it through the week. We hope this weather continues. Spring is around the corner and we can't wait-our trees are budding in hopes of seeing the full warm sun more often.
To Close, we start the night with each child in there own beds, in their own rooms. Two girls in their new bed/cribs and Brayden in his room. We will see how long it will last.

Hmmm...Brayden looks like he could be a football player--you better keep pushing the soccer ball :) Such cute pics! Love you all,
