Fun Indoors

Yes, we are having colder temperatures again this week. Winter seems endless with three kids. So we have found some things to keep us/kids busy. Brayden started swimming lessons this week. When we arrived we were surprised to see two boys he knew in his class. what a small world, Brayden had a lot of fun. When we first talked about it he was not too sure about the whole thing-I don't know how to swim? was his comment to us. When I told him it was practice to learn he was okay with the whole thing. Becca was devastated that she could only watch, she undressed herself and was trying to put on her swimsuit to go swimming, such a big girl-we had lots of tears when she found out she was only going to watch.

We also had a fun play date with some of Brayden's little buddies at the bowling alley, Hudson is missing from the pic-he suddenly got camera shy. The kids had lots of fun. All green balls except for Becca who had to have a bright pink ball-"I do it mommy" She is getting too big. Tonight she is sleeping in her new bed. Yes, she was still in a crib, but when you are able to contain at least one and get a little more sleep it's okay! Well she has been climbing out in the morning about 7am-so much for 9am, so we figured it was time. We will see how she does, she was pretty excited about the whole deal.

Tonight we all went swimming. Both kids had lots of fun. Becca loves to kick, but is still unsure of floating by herself. She is glued to who ever is holding her. Brayden loved "surfing" as he calls it with his kick board. Yes Andrea was there too-sitting as good as gold in the car seat, watching all the fun.

Andrea has been having lots of fun playing on the floor-it is amazing what a mess that little girl can make. She has figured out how to pull down the toy baskets and dismantle any toy shelf we have. She loves babies, I am convinced she thinks they are real. Hopefully the video works and you can hear her talk to them. (Sorry, I could not get my page to publish with the video-frustrating)

That is about all for now. Both kids struggled with learning listening lessons this week. Brayden found out it was not a good idea to yell "NO" at mommy. After spending a good amount of time in his room he came out and informed me that he was not speaking to me anymore. The sad thing is it kind of made me laugh. Both kids are having a hard time saying "yes mommy" Becca will whisper it after about 2 min of pouting. What are we going to do when they get older!?!
