Swimming

Today was lots of fun for Brayden. It was safety and water rescue week at the pool. Brayden's class got to ride in a canoe and jump off the diving board-with lifejackets..it is safety week. Brayden was awarded a completion ribbon-he was pretty proud.

The kids minds are always working-I am convinced even as they sleep. For example, as we were walking into the grocery store Brayden said "I smell... hmmm ..grandpa's gator" There was a strong gas smell, and yes it did smell like the gator. Then a little while later his comment was "all the way here, from MI?" How funny. He is also trying out phrases he hears adults use, but they sound very funny coming out of his mouth. Andrea was playing with a book today and must have turned the page. Brayden, in a shocked voice said "I can't believe it mommy, I just can't believe it" who knew turning a page in a book was such a milestone.

Both kids are loving playing outside today-it is almost 80! Becca stuck her nose in the back door and yelled, "I Play outside mommy" and then took off to play catch with Brayden. If you can picture Brayden winding up with a hard baseball, glove in other hand and Becca standing about 10 feet away innocently holding out her hands in hopes of catching the ball. I don't know how many of you have seen Brayden throw, but he has a great arm. Needless to say I had to inform Brayden only Mommy and Daddy could play catch with him.

Andrea loves her toes and can be very possessive of them!
