Field Trip, school activities

This time of year the calender takes over.  The kids love it...for us parents, at least me it wipes me out!!  Everyone is super busy this time of year so hang on...this is a bunch of pics.  We have one last field trip this week and thats it.  Becca has had a fun last couple weeks of school.  She got to go to the zoo-ended up doing a big scavenger hunt of some sort.  She also got to do a little bowling, practice her math skills, no computer to do her score,  Her Project this past week was making a solar cooker.  She was a bit disappointed as hers only made it to 100 degrees. This age I love to tag along on the trips-the kids love to talk and it is a lot of fun getting to know her friends a bit more.  Sad to say I missed both with my foot issues...which means I didn't get any pictures.  Andrea had a fun trip to meet her Pen Pal, I also missed this.  She had a lot of fun hanging out with her during recess.

Brayden was off for the entire day to Oklahoma City to explore the State Capital and then the Museum of Osteology.  He was so excited.

He was most excited to be able to sit in the these seats on the house floor.

Getting to ride this big bus was a lot of fun...mostly because they allowed electronics on the ride!

James was off to the zoo as well.  Ron was the best and drove the boys and kept up with the crazy crew.  They had a lot of fun-I think one of the boys fell asleep on the ride back to school.  I worked that day at school...along with a couple more that week.  I am not sure how these working moms do it!

Both Andrea's and James's class gave me a Mother's day Tea a couple weeks ago.  So special from each-so thankful for the teachers and all their hard work!

James' wonderful teacher-retiring this year after 28 years of teaching.

I love getting one on one time with Andrea.  She gets lost lately with the other kids and with Becca keeping up with Brayden she loves some time having me to herself.  She served me tea and sweets and had some very special papers she wrote up.

James's Teacher is a big party person...we couldn't let James finish school without his party.  He was loved on by all his classmates.  King for the afternoon!

On top of all the activities we need to do a little shopping-fifth grade graduation and no this was not what Brayden wanted...Becca was pretty proud for her choice.
