So Ron's parents made the drive out to spend some time with us and the kids a couple weeks ago. I am struggling to keep up with the pictures and find my camera sits in the computer room much of the time...anyway most of the pictures that I do manage to get are not the greatest. Somehow babies are more inspiring that much of the complaining and pushing that comes with the kids lately! It was a great week filled with sports-thankfully we are approaching the end as we are all ready for a little break from all of it! Turtles and tad poles are calling the kids name.
After a super early morning followed by a long drive Ron's parents were able to watch Brayden's baseball game-what a day!
We did have some weather come through cancelling some games but Brayden did make it to the batting cages one evening with the team.
Ron's mom got to tag along on James Field Trip to the Kids Museum-a fun time for James.
Thankfully it was testing week at school so the kids could take a break from their school work after school and spend time with Grandma and Grandpa.
A visit is never complete with out a tea party.
A new card game taught by brayden... a little scary when he is the only one teaching the rules! Yes-we even did bake a pie.
Grandpa got a workout by Brayden and mostly by James who wanted to play ball every spare moment with him-especially when Grandpa started to pay for hits over the fence!
Soccer was a go on Saturday but it just happened to be the day when games where scheduled at the same time-of course they left each game right at the time both kids scored.
Finally an evening to enjoy without wind. Campfire fire pies where on the menu until the irons went missing??? hot dogs and smores instead.
