This time of year teachers are asking for school pictures...I realize I don't take any pics of the kids at school or even lately of field trips. This was the group of fifth graders ready to head out to the glassblowing factory. Next week they head out to explore our state capital. It is the last couple weeks of school and field trips fill my schedule. The zoo, pen pal, museums, capitals...slightly crazy.
Andrea had a lot of fun at this outing-Princess and the Pea at ORU
The kids have been braving the pool-cool nights mean the water is still a bit chilly.
The school had their annual art fair and each kid had one painting or drawing.
Fifth graders did a whole unit with the rubix cube with a final project of this mosaic-brayden had a lot of fun.
Each kid has lead chapel this year. This was Brayden's last elementary chapel, he opted to be a door holder-yes we need to get a shirt and tie for next year.
James is my only child to volunteer to lead the singing! The other kids all choose door holder because in there words...they don't need to do anything! James had a big grin on his face singing this morning.
There is always school work but the teaching always have some fun project to keep motivating the kids. Andrea made a funny alien to go with her planet she researched-Jupiter. You never know what they are working on. Today Andrea took in a bag of trash-literally...recycling unit. Becca is always taking in random things for her STEM class-old goggles/duct tape.
