Sunday was our Choirs Christmas Program of "Lessons and Carols" wonderful celebration of the first Sunday of Advent. Ron survived another cyclocross race without any flats or crashes, coming in around 15th out of 50 racers. We ended the day at the Bethlehem Walk. Andrea was not excited to go this year-saying it was the scariest thing about Christmas. Becca was determined to remember her name and occupation so she didn't get yelled at by the Roman Soldier this year. It was a beautiful warm night and the walk was a lot of fun...some tears and scares but still a special time to remember Mary and Josephs travels and events that surrounded the birth of Jesus.

Fun Weekend
We made it through a week of School work and jumped into a weekend of fun. Our good friend had a birthday celebration Friday night which the kids were sooo excited for. Of course it was a super kid fun place-incredible pizza. Friday night was fun of pizza and fun, leaving us all exhausted(although I think the adults were more tired than the kids) I would think the kids would sleep a little bit in the mornings but not Brayden. Saturday he was up and ready to go, what I wouldn't give for a morning to just lay around! Crazy thing was that Saturday was Brayden's first basketball game which turned out to be against one of his good buddy's team, Jenks. We had decided that Saturday was going to be spent trying to get up some of our Christmas decorations including a tree, which meant finding/cutting a tree. Turned out our friends had the same plans so we headed out to find a tree together. Finding a Christmas tree in Tulsa is not an easy thing...lets just say the drive there was much longer than the drive home. We did manage to get it home and decorated. It is so fun to see the kids go through their ornaments and the memories they have from some. They all were able to hang their ornaments this year...each having special spots for certain ornaments (even noticing some were moved when I tried to even out the tree a bit)
