I guess you just never quite know what to expect but I do have to say that not a whole lot surprises me these days. Not that the kids have been such terrors but I guess I have lowered my expectations in most cases. Anyway, today James woke up from his nap crying. This is always a bad sign usually resulting in a day full of whining so I decided to leave him in bed in hopes he might rest and wake up a happy baby. After some quiet which I thankfully thought he had fallen back to sleep I heard a big bump followed by more crying. Well, that's it...I thought he had head butted the crib (something he does when he is mad or can't fall asleep), so I went to go get him up. I thought his crying sounded a little loud and when I opened the door I about took him out, seeing as he was standing right on the other side. Somehow that little guy managed to get out of bed-it must have been quite a tumble. What a shocker-Andrea was in that crib till she was at least two and half and never once crawled out. This little guy is a trip, now besides for the yelling, hitting, throwing I can add this to the list of annoying habits he has developed. Good thing he gives great hugs and has a cute smile.
