AHHHHH Cotton Candy

Well if you don't know already I have a huge sweet tooth, and it seems than Becca is the one who will keep up the Mulder tradition in the sweet tooth department!  Tonight we went to our last drillers game.  We have not been since the beginning of summer due to the heat and when we told the kids we were going they were all SUPER excited, but for different reasons.  Brayden was excited to watch the game and to try and get a game ball.  The only thing the girls had on their brain was a chance to get some cotton candy. The moment we sat down Becca gave a shout, I thought she saw someone she knew behind us....nope, just the cotton candy man carrying a stick with about 20bags full of cotton candy.  From then on she proceeded to either point out every stick in the stadium or just look at me and say...."all I can think about is cotton candy!"  Mid game Ron headed up for some ice-cream and of course...cotton candy.  When they came back Becca had a horrible look on her face-can you believe it-SOLD OUT...BUT they might make some more.  Now, it became an even more frantic search.  Every time I looked at Becca she was scanning the stands for the cotton candy man-and there were none. Finally I looked back and spotted one lone pole with one bag left at the top-yup, I was the crazy mom running up the steps two at a time for a bag of cotton candy!  In the end we all enjoyed a lot of cotton candy, except for James who tried one taste, took it back out of his mouth and chucked it into the row ahead of us-no more for him.  At one point I did think, hmmmm maybe all this sugar is not the greatest this late at night, but then again my kids don't seem to be bothered too much by it. Turned out it kicked Andrea into high gear-if you know her she is my sleeper, always tired and always ready for a nap.  As we all piled into the car her mouth just kept on going, the other kids were half sleeping and kept telling her to be quiet.  To top it off she remembered that we were going camping tomorrow increasing her energy level.  Now we were serenaded the rest of the drive home with her singing  "A camping we will go, a camping we will go, high ho the dairy oh a camping we will go"...over and over and over.  We both had to laugh at this little girl singing her heart out from the back seat at 10pm, what a little sugar can do!
