Somehow I missed posting this moment of learning for Andrea. We...or I should say Ron has been bugging Andrea about riding her bike without training wheels for about the past year. Most times he mentions it she just starts crying, other times she has tried and just fallen over and given up. She told all of us that when she was four then she would ride....her birthday came and went with no change of attitude. Anyway, at some point last week she mentioned that she couldn't ride because she didn't have a helmet. Well, I could fix that fast....we have a shelf of helmets. What do you know, a couple tries in the morning with me running behind and she was actually able to make it past our driveway without tears. Once daddy saw she was actually balancing he told me to let go and stop running with her, and she just kept on going. WAY TO GO ANDREA!
I added this one just to show how excited the kids were that Andrea was riding...even James.

so exciting...I know the feeling as a mom to watch them get it!! Way to GO Andrea!! Had she had that helmet earlier, she'd have done this then huh?? Funny how that works out! :)
