Becca's class along with another K4 class at her school went and sang some songs for some very sweet people at a nursing home. The kids did a great job, I am amazed at all the songs they sang and how well they did at some of the older songs. Becca has been singing, the Old Rugged Cross this week...such an old song it made me smile whenever she would start singing. I do have to say it was pretty special, meaningful when all the older people joined them in singing, sometimes it is nice to still sing some of those old tunes. The kids passed out some eggs and crafts they had worked on after-James was a big hit and gave lots of smiles and surprised me by wanted to go to half of the people there. Andrea wanted nothing to do with anyone and hid behind me sucking her them. Becca was her sweet self but a little shy in going up to people and wishing them a happy Easter.
The Teacher singing and talking is Ms Kelly-she is very intense but everyone loves her, her kids are those ones doing most of the singing and motions.
No I didn't just take video of this poor man eating, this was a hard table to have to eat at and listen...you can just see Becca but I wanted to get this song as she has been saying it is her favorite all week.
