So Becca is my little talker. She sits in the back seat of the car and talks most of the time either to herself or to me, although I can't hardly hear her but she doesn't seem to mind. This was her conversation with herself today in the car.
Becca:
"I like to help people
I like to think of other people feeling first
I like to make people happy"
Me, "hmmmm, thats really nice Becca"-okay I wasn't paying that close to what she was saying, but she just kept right on
"I think it is because I have Jesus in my heart, hmmm (yes she really said hmmm) I must have been baptized and don't remember" Mommy, Brayden doesn't think of others first so he must not have Jesus in his heart"
Well, we had a nice conversation on how we are all sinful and not perfect-she thought it was pretty crazy that even myself am not nice all the time, and forget to treat other's as Jesus would. Anyway-the kids are really thrown by the whole baptism thing seeing as both Becca and Brayden have expressed multiple time that they want and have Jesus in their hearts, but think that since they haven't been dunked like their friend then that must not be the case. Confusing to explain to little ones but also so refreshing to see the true belief outside of the legality that we can get so caught up in.
