OUR TREE

It was a picture morning, so there is not a whole lot to write. We decided to take the morning off and head out to find our Christmas tree. We had a lot of fun, found a new Christmas tree farm and managed to stay half way warm.

The inspection before the cutting, Brayden and Ron always wanted to make sure that the base was wide enough.

We picked in record speed, I think the cold has somewhat of a factor.

Becca, enjoying the hayride back to the barn.

Even Andrea did great, no tears this year-they are all getting older.

The only snow man we could find, although we hear in MI they have at least 8in today!

They were all pretty excited to get their own candy cane

Andrea thought all the banging in trying to get the tree in the stand was a little loud.

Let the needles begin, although I think the fresh pine smell in worth the live tree.

Some how Brayden ended up under the tree helping Ron with the lights???

The kids were great hanging up their ornaments this year, much easier than last year. Andrea hung most of her ornaments all in the same place-by a puppy she liked. Becca just had a hard time deciding which ornament to hang first.

So far no broken ornament!

It was a lot of fun hearing what the kids had to say about each ornaments, I think they could have decorated for a whole other hour.
