IT REALLY IS ALL FUN!

This is the part of Christmas I love, not all the preparation in trying to meet every ones expectations but just a day of Christmas fun! We got to start out the Saturday with a wonderful slow morning along with a nice warm breakfast, Saturday's are just GREAT. After some last minute shopping and mailing we all sat down and cut out Christmas cookies. It is getting much easier to do things with the kids-we only had one trying to poke her finger in the cookies this year.

After an extra long nap time....I think the kids were just as worn out from the week as we were, we headed down town to the holiday ice rink. Becca was super excited, along with Brayden-I think even Andrea thought she was skating.

Brayden was great this year and managed to stand up by himself and skate. It was lots of fun to watch him in the middle of the rink trying to spin and then just falling and laughing.

Andrea got a couple rides around the rink-FAST, until Ron was told no carrying little ones. Andrea was not too happy after that. Watching is not all that fun after a while when you are two.

The ice skating bunch. Becca loved getting pushed by Ron around the rink. She would just hang on to the side with spaghetti legs-very funny to see. Both loved it and wanted to keep skating. Andrea had other plans. She kept wanting to go into the warming tent to warm her cold hands.

The haveman bunch, for the most part still smiles after an hour of the cold.

Brayden was ready to go again after they cleaned the ice.

We ended the evening with a kids movie and lots of cookie decorating. The kids had lot of fun mixing the sprinkles, although they enjoyed decorating much more than eating them.
