A Kid Saturated Week

Okay, so it is VBS week or BAW (Bible Adventure Week) as it is now called.  I am working this year after taking a year off.  All four kids are going along with some neighbor friends.  It is amazing the number of kids that come, I think around four hundred.  It is so fun to see them all singing and having fun in the morning.  The kids are all having a fun time, even James has fallen into a routine with his class and has been getting a morning nap....which is more than he sometimes get at the house.  We have been taking the neighbor kids since I have to work anyway, it has been a busy couple of days with six kids-my kids think it is the best.  They all play great but the noise level has elevated, making for my need to hide away in the evening even greater.  Tomorrow is the last day, it has been a great week but I am once again looking forward to having just our own schedule to make up each day.

This is the bunch today at lunch.  I have been totally focused on the basics-cooking, cleaning....I think next week I am going to give them all up, seeing as none of  these things are top of my enjoyment list!  You might want to stay clear of our house.

This little guy just cracks me up this week.  He is walking all over and it just making me laugh to see him come tottering, and babbling into the kitchen looking for someone.

Well, Ephie decided to attack James but you can kind of hear him talking-that is what makes me smile.
