Fun to make it out today....Ron was being all romantic....heart in the snow......
All he really wanted was to push my face in the snow!
The Reported snow fall for Tulsa yesterday was 14 inches. I think most is still on the ground. Today was terribly cold and tonight the temps are supposed to continue to fall. We continue to be house bound although Ron has made it out with his truck, to walmart.....which was actually closed yesterday. It is amazing to me how fast these days actually go. Waking up and thinking about spending the entire day at home seems a little daunting but it is funny how dinner time creeps up on us. Today the kids had some school time in the morning. It takes a LOT of patience...hard for me especially with three kids sitting at the table all either telling me their done or asking for help. Andrea was all excited to work but after tracing a triangle and some other shapes decided she was too tired to even hold a pencil...I gladly sent her off to play. Becca did very well, she is continuing to recognize letteres and match them to pictures. Brayden did okay, his work is harder so it takes longer, and he is the one ready to bounce off his seat to go play. Between sound blends being able to read rhyming words we survived, although we have about 15more pages to tackle. Brayden teacher is wonderful and sent home plenty work to keep us busy for the week. I did enjoy a walk around the nieghborhood with ephie. It was a lot of fun to walk down the middle of the street and to be the only ones out-one street not a single driveway was shoveled, no tire treads just smooth sparkly snow. Ephie thought it was pretty fun too. We all did have fun playing outside this afternoon. The snow is so cold it wasn't the greatest for packing but we still all had fun. Ron made the rounds talking to the neighbors, Brayden enjoyed helping them shovel which included lots of playing. I think people were ready for some fresh air!
Becca is a little under the weather, our house must be contaminated as we haven't been any where since Monday.
Andrea loves the snow, she is a little instigator throwing snow at everyone and jumping on every ones snow walls....all fun until she has to go potty or her fingers get cold. I found her in the bathroom rinsing her hat off, with water-she was pretty proud that she had gotten it all clean.
Tree Icicles, although we have some pretty big ones forming off our roof.
I took this picture to show how Brayden looked after shoveling and playing with the neighbors...I actually think his tooth was bleeding but he was all smiles (I love the melting snow in his hair).
