SIX MONTHS OLD

James is now six months old.  At his appointment this week he weighed in at 17 lbs, putting him in the 49 percentile..  He was 27 inches, 68th percentile and he had a head circumference in the 32 percentile.  This matches all the rest of our kids-pretty average with a small head.  Just yesterday James started moving forward from his constant rocking.  It is so fun to see him figure out how to move his legs.  He is a huge eater and the Doctor encouraged me to feed him more in hopes of a better nights sleep.  We are draining the baby food isle!  He is still full of smiles and loves his siblings.  James definitely knows what he likes and a bottle is not on his list.  He loves activity and is now grabbing at anything the interests him within reach.  It has been a fast six months, this baby stage seems so fleeting but we are enjoying every moment of it!  (well, maybe not all the spitting)
