I am not sure where the week has gone but it has just flown by, I think both Ron and I feel caught up in a never ending whirlwind. All I know is that for the past couple of days all I feel is unprepared and behind, which means I am once again chasing the clock....mostly with the mini-van, and making multiple trips to the grocery store. The good thing is that we are all loving the holiday season and with all the lights, decorations, parties, songs, goodies it really is all a lot of fun. It is most rewarding to hear the kids correct the radio on what Christmas is really about.
Today was also the Mexican Fiesta in Brayden's class. Brayden was all about the pinata but when it came to the food he didn't fair so well. He informed me he liked the chips and the fruit and maybe the sopapilla...he has such a simple pallet.
Some fun things we are enjoying the holiday season are lighting the advent wreath most every night, singing and learning Christmas carols. I enjoy finding my Nativity set arranged differently most morning...Ron is enjoying moving them around and seeing how it bothers the kids. Getting to turn on the house Christmas lights is the task Becca usually takes care of each evening. The hunt for the pickle/ornament has been mostly fun, although a little frustrating for the kids depending on who hid it. Now just maybe just a little snow might be nice!
