It was another full Saturday. Brayden finally won his first Soccer game. It was a great game, as they all have but it sure was nice to see his team win. Ron had his first Cyclocross bike race this evening which was also lots of fun. Ron did great for his first race and made it for the full 40min ride. The kids even got in on the action in the kids race.
Becca was pretty excited that she could ride. I really didn't think she ever wanted to but she kept talking about wanting to race, and when she found out we had taken her bike she was SUPER excited.
She pedaled around the course at her own speed like no care in the world, I was so proud of her for getting out there and riding! She was pretty happy that she got a medal.
As you can see, Brayden is much more determined and concerned about winning when he rides!
The kids loved giving Ron high fives, lots of fun to be close to all the riders....a little nervous for me!
Thankfully no big flats....one slow leak but he was able to finish.
Brayden got to play the entire game, the team was missing their lead scorer. Brayden came out strong and did a bunch of scoring but once again was great at defense.
Hard to believe it was Oct with all the sun/heat this afternoon.
