Let the fun begin

I can hardly believe that we are in the last week of April. It seems like the calender is filling up and time is started to fly by with the kids (the pregnancy is another matter). Brayden is staying busy at school with lots of fun activities for end of school fun. I really thought things would whined down but instead they are getting busier, between field trips, special party's and chapels they are keeping everyone on their toes-including us parents! Becca is gearing up for her big end of season recital. Today was picture day which meant full costume. You would think that with plenty of warning we wouldn't be late, but I managed to somehow fall behind and was the crazy mom rushing and dragging along her kids. The cutest thing about getting dressed today was seeing Becca's face when I told her she could wear make-up. I was busy laying out her dress and couldn't figure out what she was doing, after yelling in frustration for her to start getting dressed I notice what she was doing. She was sitting in the middle of her room with her little heart make-up set between her legs all set to doll up her face, just as happy and content as could be. I think I scared her when I yelled "NO, NO, NO....not that make-up" If you don't know her play make-up goes on dark and doesn't come off very easily. Anyway, she was still all smiles when she got to use big girl make-up and not her play stuff. Her smile was just the best to see while she performed, we will see how she does on a big stage in a couple of weeks for a bigger audience.
