ROUTINE

Not a whole lot to post since it seems that we are stuck in our weekly routine with a chance every now and then to enjoy a little sunshine before more cold and rain hits. So what else is there to do when home besides for the obvious?? Potty Training...Yes, I have decided it is time but I don't know if Andrea is totally sold on the idea. I have not had to clean up too many messes, although she is a little stinker and waits all day to do her thing in her diaper. Last night Brayden and Becca were not happy campers going to bed as she had stunk up the whole room-maybe that will give her a little incentive. I have decided the third time around to ditch the pull-ups and deal with wet pants or panties, none of my kids have been able to tell the difference from diapers to pull-ups and they seems to just defeat all my hard work.
Brayden is big into playing games on the computer and thanks to his cousins at Christmas time is stuck on playing what he calls Aliens on the Lego site-it is actually star wars but neither Ron or I have ever gotten into the whole star war thing so Brayden doesn't really have a clue. Funny how some of the most fun sites or I should say sites that I actually think are fun and he also likes you now have to pay for. We continue to work on consequences of our behavior and making good choices-this always seems like such a struggle for him. It amazes me how he seems truly shocked when punished even when it is usually over the same rude behavior displayed many times before with the SAME results.
Becca is now officially enrolled for K4 school next year. I love having her home, she is such a little helper and easy going child, beside for the excess whining. The other night when I was busy with the other kids she picked up all the snack bowls from the table and cleaned up all without having to be told or asked.
That's the update for now just a bunch of every day life which even though seems so mundane thankfully still has special moments throughout each day-today's was Brayden running to me when he saw me enter his class and giving me a big hug...THE BEST!
