BARGAINS!!

I am not a big bargain hunter but this week the bargains have found me. The big find a couple days ago was some honey crisp apples. Although I love living in Tulsa the produce is not the greatest and I really miss all the apples around this time, we just got the Macintosh's in the store and that is about it. Anyway, I was complaining about the lack of decent apples and what do you know, one lone bag of damaged apples/seconds on the shelf for half price....guess what, they were honey crisps, what a rare find! The great deal just made them taste that much sweeter.

On to the best bargain of all. Tonight we went to get new running shoes and I was all set to purchase a new shoe as mine is no longer made. Shoes are a big deal for me, not that they look okay but that they fit, it has always been a problem for me, and I am afraid I am passing my wonderfully wide feet on to my daughters. Anyway, after asking the sales help about their Pegasus Nike, she asked me if I wanted the pink or blue-I was shocked because the pink is the 2007 model. Would you believe my shoes were on clearance-50%off the reduced price. I walked out of the store with two pairs! WHAT A DEAL, I am now set for my next 1000miles.
