Seems like January has flown by, as it always does. Not a whole lot is going on...nice! Sometimes having a routine without having additional work resulting from holidays or specials occasions at school is nice (although it is the 100th day of school next week!) The kids are slowly getting back into the routine of school work. I think with the move and holidays their work was on a downhill slide. Becca is working hard at spelling-hoping a new computer program will help. If she doesn't do well it is not for lack of studying, I have to say she is such a trooper-even I get sick of asking her to spell, and she never complains with I endlessly quiz her....when I get her up, combing her hair, eating breakfast, in the car, on our way home, waiting for gymnastics!! Spelling is just not her thing (mine either!) I am so happy when then Saturday comes. Brayden has been sliding down the messy slope of penmanship, and general sloppiness-consequences are never fun and I find I am having to reign back in the computer playing time. Basically the house rules are being re-instated after a much longer time of being ignored for the sake of getting work done. We are slowly finding our routine with calmness!

With the sunshine comes skinned knees-Becca had a rough one this past week. Good thing was it happened to be in the shape of a heart, which made her smile.
The bunch. I feel I can't keep up. Registration for school is in full swing for next year along with other summer activities. Hard for me to fill in their grade for the upcoming school year!
A rare thing....A shocker to see this and not hear any growling or hissing from big kitty. Don't get the wrong picture, she still doesn't care for Sandy.
