Winter Storm Warning

So we all went to bed in hopes of maybe getting a little glimpse of some winter weather.  I am not complaining about all the beautiful, warm sunny days we have had this winter but the  kids....and I were missing a little snow!  Once again, such hype!  Turned out there was just enouph to cover the ground and it was the heavy wet stuff.  I woke up early, turned on the radio and promptly heard the kids' school listed as closed and so after turning on cartoons went back and curled up in bed.  The crazy business of Mondays schedule out the door and visions of a day with pj's and hot chocolate, filled my head instead.  I did manage to get out of bed, only  because the kids were wanting to play outside.  Thankfully I checked my computer and discovered school wasn't cancelled just delayed---ahhhhh!  The morning went from relaxing to running late!  Trying to get the kids out to play, find clean school clothes, garabage out, lunches made all seemed like a harsh reality compared to my vision of a a lazy day off.  Well, the kids did make it to school-valentine boxes and all, Andrea managed her speach class complete with valentines and I....well I missed the gym!  Anyway, it was a fun morning till reality hit us all.  Now we are left with a wet mess!

Just a small down side to the snow-a bunch of really wet snow gear, which will all need to get packed up.  I think it will only get used once, looks like warmer weather is on it's way.
