Today is Ron's birthday. I don't know what is more fun, being the birthday person or doing all the birthday preparations with the kids. The kids and I had a lot of fun making Ron's birthday fun and special. The kids helped decorate the cake last night and could hardly wait to show Ron their handy work. Brayden was especially proud that we used one of his lego men on a motorcycle to represent Ron on his Mountain bike. All the kids spent a lot of time working on cards. Brayden filled his paper with all the things Ron does with him. Becca's was covered in butterfly's and some very nice letters and Andreas had a nice handprint....and an "A". Sad to say once again I was still unable to pull off making Ron's favorite "ham balls" here in Tulsa-although he did eat what I made, ham loaf is a necessity....must be a Holland thing, because is still doesn't exist in tulsa. We settled for pig in the blankets-which the kids think are so silly and do not eat, although I discovered James thought they were delicious! We had a fun game of UNO, before some cake and ice-cream. We still can't make it through a game without tears. Brayden thought Becca was out to get him and at one point Becca finally just picked his color off her wild just to make him happy. She is such a pleaser....he was out for blood! We ended the night with cake and ice-cream-complete with poppers which Andrea HATES! James absolutely loves cake, you would have thought it was his birthday the way he kept hollering in the corner for more food-what a tank! All in all a very fun evening for a very special daddy/ husband! We are showered in blessings and it was fun spending the day enjoying them.

| Andrea's eye just make me laugh, she really hates loud noise. |
| singing to daddy-we called during the day to sing to him at work, the kids have to had their cha cha cha's for a little more fun. |
| The cake-it is two mountains with a stream-and then a biking path....Ron has a big ride this weekend and has been working a lot on a map of the course-this is the simple representation of the upcoming ride. |
I was using my flash and James thought it was pretty funny-he kept closing his eyes.
| James loved cake....his first birthday isn't going to mean so much after tonight. |
| All the kids love cake-Becca really liked this frosting...all homemade this time! |
| Silly girl. |
