There was a big section for weather at the museum, this was an exhibit that made smoke signals. I thought the exhibit that demonstrated a tornado was pretty neat...of course that one didn't hold the kids attention, as well as one that demonstrated the wind strength of a tornado-which scared my kids.
The bubble maker-I think at one point we had four kids in the middle completely surrounded by a bubble.
I realized that it has been a little bit since my last post. It seems as though things have finally picked up around our household which makes for some fun/fast days unfortunately my evenings lack for motivation and energy. Anyway, Brayden is all about baseball and with the weather finally taking a turn he was able to enjoy a great practice this weekend. We have enjoyed finally getting out and playing at area parks towards the end of the week and the girls have rediscovered our backyard.
Yesterday we headed out on a little road trip to a Children's Museum. I had visited with the older two some years ago and with friends heading out to check it out again we decided to make the drive as well. It was well worth our afternoon. It was so much fun to see all the kids having a good time. We were there for almost four hours and I think the kids could have stayed longer. Brayden was all about sitting in an old airplane cockpit, playing with all the controls and making smoke signals. Becca liked digging for dinosaurs, shopping endlessly in a pretend grocery story and making bubbles. Andrea had just as much fun even for being a little tired she tagged along, running the maze, riding the train and having fun painting. The activities were endless! What a wonderful afternoon-no fighting or complaining just constant requests for our attention which we were more than happy to give.
