So while the rest of my family is enjoying some time together in Tulsa. Andrea and I are enjoying some time with my sister and mom in Visalia. Andrea has been totally spoiled and I don't know if we will ever recover. It has been fun seeing her develop, or should I say actually being able to have the time to sit and notice the things she can do. Yesterday we went to see my sister's class room. It was her last day of teaching third grade as she is having her first baby in a couple months. Sharon was standing in front of her class with Andrea and asking the kids some questions. For them to answer they were all raising their hands. Funny thing was after Andrea staring them all down from my sister's arms, she promptly raised her own arm. It was so silly to see.
We enjoyed a nice lunch together and then after a little afternoon rest/run we all went a did some shopping. How fun-I forget how nice it is to leisurely shop and not always be on a mission with all the kids in tow. For dinner we went to a steak house that served basically every dish endlessly. I have never seen so much food! Andrea has started to eat and feed herself-not always very successfully but she manages. Tonight I don't know if she got bored but she discovered something else fun she could do at the table. Andrea discovered that by whacking the table with her hands she could not only make a loud noise but smash all her food. What a mess!
We finished the evening by watch a wonderful movie-Dan In Real Life. It was a great movie and one I would actually recommend seeing. The only down side to CA is the time change and unfortunately Andrea has been waking up quite early, but normal for her Tulsa internal clock. Sharon is growing and looks wonderfully pregnant. Her cat fuzzywinks is putting up with all the commotion and is trying to figure out how to play with Andrea and vise-versa. Andrea is now on to the MMMM's and say's Ma Ma all the time-regardless if it is me or not, although Sharon is convinced she knows where her toes are. Sharon would say, I am going to get your toes Andrea and she would promptly lift them up for her to get with a big grin on her face! We are having a wonderful time, amazingly we actually have cool weather and a few rain drops yesterday.
