Christimas partys.

There are always plenty party's once December comes around.  It always amazes me how fast the month fly's by.  This year is was a nice mix of busy days and a couple Saturdays free and able to be home.  Ron and I enjoyed a couple nights out for work party's...something I don't always enjoy but ended having a couple really nice evening out with friends.
Braydens youth group had a big bash-complete with hot chocolate, a marshmallow fight (snowball) and a pillow fight.  Brayden had a blast.  Love leaders who are willing to have a complete mess in the basement for some fun.

The other kids minus James had their ignite church party-I ended up doing the games, kind of by default but we had a lot of fun being crazy.  Becca won this huge kiss for her sweater.   I think she still has it upstairs!

We had a family service where the kids were angels and helped with a service project.....and yes the kids are not always happy. James hated his wings.

We couldn't miss another year of gingerbread houses.  The kids just have at it and are pretty creative.  Andrea made a swinging bridge complete with ginger bread men tubing down a river.  Becca had a little sled with a gingerbread man and a mini ice-rink.

The girls made it to a drop in tumble season and James ended up taking a ninja class for free.  This was a bit crazy and the guy said if they climbed the wall they could jump.  James was up the wall after a couple trys and flying into the pit!.

Andreas Soccer team is a great group of girls.  They all got together to jump at sky zone for some fun.

Andreas soccer team also had a get together at the ice rink down town.  We all had a great time.  Perfect timing to be on the ice for Becca's birthday again this year.

On the ice for the first time for me since skating with Brayden in K5 and skating over his finger.  flash back with James as he is about the same age as Brayden when it happened.

Somehow the tree got decorated...I wont mention where we got the tree this year.  Although I am now seriously considering buying a fake.

Becca had a gift exchange with this small group that she has been attending with friends at another church in town.

We couldn't miss the light again this year...although some are more impressed than others.

There is always a time for cookie decoration...at this gathering the girls were more into jumping on the tramp then taking time with their cookies.
Both Becca and Brayden had a cookie exchange.  Thankful that Grandma was around that week to tackle the christmas pinwheel cookies we had in mind.

Let just say Metro's girls team has a bit more wins this season.

And while the older kids are off preparing, studying for exams the little ones are all about celebrating Christmas at school.  Programs, partys and just a lot of fun...such great teachers!
